Other Helpful Tips About Your Daily Dose
If you take XELODA in combination with
Taxotere® (docetaxel) you may experience some
different side effects. Please ask your doctor about possible side effects
that may be caused by taking XELODA with Taxotere.
If you miss a dose of XELODA:
- Do not take the missed dose at all
- Do not double the next dose
- Continue your regular dosing schedule and check with your doctor
If you take too much XELODA, contact your doctor or local poison control center
or emergency room right away.
XELODA is usually taken for 14 days. This is followed by a 7-day rest period
(no drug). Together this is called a 21-day cycle. Your doctor will tell you how
many cycles of treatment you will need.
