Side Effects of Cancer Therapy
Some chemotherapies such as XELODA are "targeted" at cancer cells. That means
they are designed to have the most effect at the site of the tumor(s).
Unfortunately, all chemotherapies also affect normal cells. This is what leads
to the side effects of cancer therapy. The type of side effects that happen in
cancer treatment depend on the drug(s) being used and the amount prescribed.
They can also vary quite a bit from one person to another.
